What sets Pokalab apart
Any spot, any line, any sizing, any texture
Pick any line from preflop to the river, heads-up or multiway, pin the bet size at every step, and combine flop, turn and river textures, on top of room, stake, stack depth, player type, pot type (13 exclusive categories, from limped and iso pots to squeezes and cold 4-bets) and tournament phase, plus HUD-stat filters such as VPIP, PFR or 3-bet in Postflop. Every combination is computed from the hands on demand, not picked from a predefined list of scenarios.
Preflop GTO at your rake
Preflop, the population is compared with a GTO solution solved with the rake and cap of the room and stake you select, wherever the library has one. Rake changes preflop strategy, most of all at low stakes, so the reference changes with it.
A modern, intuitive interface
Clean screens, built for study. MDA Explorer lays the population out as a game tree, and you browse it the way you browse a solution in GTO Wizard: click an action and the next decision opens, with the population's frequencies, bet sizes and ranges, and the GTO strategy beside them (NLHE cash games), from the first preflop action to the river.
MDA and GTO in one app
Next to the MDA: more than 50 preflop GTO solutions, a trainer that deals hands from them, a hand replayer and free tools. No other MDA tool compared below shows all of this on its site: the ones with a postflop MDA describe neither a preflop solution library nor a trainer, and the one with both (Freebetrange) has a preflop-only MDA. Coming: postflop solutions, the Leak Finder (your hands against GTO or Top Regs) and the MDA Solver (exploitative solutions built from the population data).
A database that keeps growing
~300M real hands played online, cash games and tournaments. More hands are being imported, with a target of 1 billion.
What it does
| Feature | Status | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Mass Data Analysis (MDA) | Live | How the player population really plays any spot, measured on real hands: fold, call, bet and raise frequencies, bet sizes and ranges. Any line from preflop to the river, heads-up or multiway, any sequence of bet sizes, any combination of flop, turn and river textures, by room, stake, stack depth and player type. Views: Explorer (the population's game tree, browsed node by node), Preflop (every matchup on one screen), Postflop (a spot split by bet size or board texture) and Players & Pools. Multiway pots are followed in Explorer. |
| GTO comparisons | Live | Every MDA spot of NLHE cash games is shown next to its GTO strategy, preflop and postflop. Preflop, the GTO solution follows the rake and cap of the room and stake you select; postflop, the reference is solved with NL200 rake. |
| Preflop solutions | Beta | More than 50 solved preflop trees. Cash games, each solved with its room's rake and cap: heads-up, 5-max, 6-max and 9-max, at 100 or 200 big blinds, with several open sizes. Tournaments: 8-handed with antes, from 10 to 50 big blinds. Frequencies and EV for every combo. |
| Trainer | Beta | Hands dealt from the solutions, every decision graded, with the GTO mix and the EV given up. |
| Hand replayer | Live | Replays hands decision by decision. |
| Free tools | Live | Poker Math, Variance Calculator, Preflop Charts. Free, no account needed. |
| Postflop solutions | Soon | Solved postflop trees, from the flop to the river. |
| Leak Finder | Soon | Your own hands measured spot by spot against GTO or against Top Regs, the winning regulars of the population. Hand import is already open. |
| MDA Solver | Soon | Exploitative solutions built from the MDA: the solver plays against how the population really plays each spot and finds the strategy that beats it. |
| PLO | Soon | Pot-limit Omaha in MDA. |

Pokalab and the other MDA tools
| Product | What it is | Difference with Pokalab |
|---|---|---|
| SnapMDA Pokalab vs SnapMDA | Mass data analysis from 992 million hand histories by its own count (cash games, tournaments and PLO), with deep filters: any line, per-street bet sizes and size sequences, 76 board textures, HUD stats and multiway pots, read from a query bar and a report grid. Its GTO comparison is postflop only, from 500NL 100bb sims, with no multiway, tournament, PLO or ante spots; for preflop it points to GTO Wizard's free sims. | SnapMDA has more hands, more rooms and PLO. Pokalab compares preflop as well as postflop to GTO, and preflop the GTO follows the rake of the room and stake you select. Pokalab filters pot types in one click (13 categories; SnapMDA's documentation filters an iso pot by typing its line) and tournament phases (SnapMDA calls its tournament support experimental). It has its own library of more than 50 preflop GTO solutions with a trainer and a hand replayer, and lays the population out as a game tree browsed node by node. |
| MDA Demon Pokalab vs MDA Demon | Population data from real cash-game hands (173M+ hand histories by its homepage counter), pre-computed spots you browse straight to, with Regs and Fish, texture filters stacked across streets, and GTO benchmarks from self-play hands of its own sims, postflop. Its plans list GGPoker, PokerStars, WPN, CoinPoker, iPoker and 888. | Pokalab is far more flexible: MDA Demon serves pre-computed spots, Pokalab computes any line on demand, heads-up or multiway, with a bet-size sequence and textures on every street (MDA Demon's site does not mention multiway pots or bet-size sequences). Pokalab adds tournaments, preflop GTO at the rake of your room and stake, and its own preflop solutions with a trainer and a hand replayer. |
| Poker MDA (Exploit Wizard) | Population analysis of 245M+ cash-game hands from GGPoker, PokerStars, iPoker and 888poker, NL10 to NL2000+, with 25+ combinable filters (actions and bet sizes on every street, number of players, flop, turn and river textures), line reports, Single Player Analysis and “Similar To Player” pools. | Pokalab adds WPN and tournaments (GGPoker, WPN, Chico), browses the population as a game tree, and has its own preflop solutions with a trainer and a hand replayer. |
| Freebetrange | Preflop study tools: a preflop MDA (the preflop decision tree of each opponent type, 300M+ hands by its own count, filtered by room group, stake band, table size and ante), a GTO preflop library, a trainer and hand import. | Freebetrange's MDA stops at preflop. Pokalab's runs from preflop to the river, with bet sizes, board textures and multiway pots, next to GTO. |
| GTO Wizard Pokalab vs GTO Wizard | A GTO study app built on solver output: a library of solved spots, practice against the solver, analysis of your own hand histories against the solution, custom solving and manual nodelocking. Its site and help center describe no data measured on real players. | Pokalab is built on how real players play each spot, shown next to GTO. Pokalab's own solution library is preflop for now, with postflop solutions coming; postflop GTO already appears inside the MDA as the comparison (NLHE cash). |

Questions
What is Pokalab?
Pokalab is a poker study app built on mass data analysis (MDA): how the player population really plays any spot, measured on ~300M real hands played online and shown next to GTO, with more than 50 preflop GTO solutions, a trainer, a hand replayer and free tools.
What is mass data analysis (MDA) in poker?
Measuring how the whole player population actually plays a spot, on a large sample of real hands, instead of assuming everyone plays GTO. Pokalab shows each spot's population frequencies, bet sizes and ranges next to the GTO strategy, so you see where the pool deviates.
Which poker sites and stakes does Pokalab's data cover?
~300M real hands played online, NLHE cash games and tournaments together. Cash games: GGPoker, PokerStars, iPoker, WPN, 888poker. Tournaments: GGPoker, WPN, Chico. There are no Winamax hands. Pro is sold by stake band: up to NL50, up to NL200, NL500 and up.
How much does Pokalab cost?
There is a free account. Pro (the full MDA) costs €49.99 a month (up to NL50), €99.99 a month (up to NL200), €129.99 a month (NL500 and up), taxes included; the annual plan costs 10 months. Beta offer: 50% off the first month of a monthly Pro plan, until 31 October 2026.
Does Pokalab include GTO?
Yes. Every MDA spot of NLHE cash games is shown next to its GTO strategy, preflop and postflop, and Pokalab includes more than 50 solved preflop trees with a trainer. Postflop solutions are coming. Tournaments have no GTO comparison yet.
How does Pokalab compare with SnapMDA, MDA Demon, Poker MDA and GTO Wizard?
Pokalab pairs a full MDA (any line from preflop to the river, heads-up or multiway, next to GTO preflop and postflop) with its own more than 50 preflop GTO solutions, a trainer and a hand replayer; preflop, its GTO follows the rake of the room and stake you select. SnapMDA states more hands (992 million by its own count) and covers PLO, but compares only postflop spots to GTO and points to GTO Wizard for preflop solutions. MDA Demon serves pre-computed spots where Pokalab computes any line on demand. MDA Demon and Poker MDA describe cash games only; Pokalab covers tournaments too. GTO Wizard's site describes no data measured on real players.
Does Pokalab cover multiway pots?
Yes. Explorer follows any line heads-up or multiway, with the bet size pinned at every step and any combination of flop, turn and river textures.
